Who We Are

We are trainers with a special passion for working with chaos goblins and not-so-controlled disasters. We are experienced in helping the entire spectrum of dogs and their humans. We cover leash reactivity, resource guarding, confidence building, aggression, separation anxiety, house manners, basic and advanced obedience, and service dog training – to name a few.

Our philosophy is straightforward: we believe in giving you the information you need to make informed decisions for yourself and your dog. After all—we may be experts on dogs, but you’re the expert on your dog. (And if you don’t feel like an expert on your dog, don’t worry! We can help with that too.)

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the amount and variety of training and behavior information available, or if you’ve already tried a few methods and you’re not seeing improvement—you’ve come to the right place. Working with us means getting straight to the root of things, and not wasting time on ineffective or detrimental techniques.

What We Offer

Wellness-centered training for all dogs, but especially the spicy ones.

Private Lessons

One-hour lessons tailored to your goals—whether you’re unsure where to start or just need help fine-tuning specific behaviors. We usually focus on 2–3 key skills or challenges per session.

Virtual Coaching

Remote support with the same structure and depth as in-person lessons—ideal for dogs who are fearful of strangers or for behavior issues that are more about strategy than hands-on work. You’ll get personalized guidance at a slightly lower price point, from the comfort of home.

In-Home Overnight Care

Specialized overnight care for dogs with behavioral or medical needs, who often can’t be boarded or left with neighbors. Whether your dog struggles with separation anxiety, reactivity, or something more complex—we provide calm, knowledgeable care in your home. No judgment, just support.

There’s no “right” starting point.
These lessons meet you wherever you are—with support that makes sense for your dog and your life.

How We Train

Our training ethics follow a LIMA Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive framework. We start by adjusting your day-to-day so things feel calmer and more manageable. Once the fires are put out and routines feel sustainable in the short-term, we start building a solid foundation of skills to support your long-term goals.

Our “P.A.W.S.” framework Prevention, Activity, Wellness, and Skillset goes deeper than simple obedience training. Our methods support emotional wellbeing, clarity, and long-term confidence—for both dogs and their humans.

If you’re working with us, your goals go beyond simple compliance—you want a low-conflict, cooperative relationship you can trust.
